Hello I have been flying a cx2 for almost a year and decided to go up to a cp model Heli. I purchased the blade 400 thinking that it would be easier to learn on. Couldn't have been more wrong I have not had a chance to run a single battery through it let alone get it to hover, it keeps wanting to nose right and tilt right. I have gone through several sets of main blades and a few feather shafts as well and 1 rear set of blades. So I decided to get a blade cp+ the LHS was sold out and ended up getting the Heli-Max instead. I was able to get the heli in the air long enough to have it fly out of control and come crashing into the ground upside down  . I was wondering I see that you have flight lessons does this include Heli's or just for airplanes?

any help would be appreciated

Thanks Sean

I can help, I am no pro and not an instructor. I sounds like a bit of setup might be needed. Aslo, the best instructor you can get is a simulator. It will be the best money spent if you want to fly helis.

There are a few heli guys at the club that might be able to help you make sure your heli is trimmed out and that settings are correct.

i am a b400 owner and i love it. i moved up from the cp pro and i really wish i had skipped it. i was just wondering if you have seen the dx6i updates on the horizon website. it will show you how to change the expo and curves to make it more beginner friendly.

you should also search for videos on how to setup your head and tail. here are a couple that i found most useful they are for upgrades but the process applies to the stock helicopter.

dont give up on the 400 it is a far better machine to learn on than the cp. btw do you have training gear? just curious if anyone knows what the requirements are to fly and the field off 164? i need more room.
